Over 100 LBS Financial Credit Union employees, friends and family members volunteered more than 200 combined hours of their time to clean up a portion of the Long Beach coastline at several beach cleanups in 2016. LBS Financial has actively participated in the City’s Adopt-a-Beach program since 2011, adopting the popular stretch of coastline between 14th Place and 19th Place off of Ocean Boulevard. When adopting the beach, cleaning does not just take place on the sand but also in the parking lot and bike paths. The Credit Union is committed to cleaning up the beach a minimum of three times per year. The LBS Financial team cleaned the beach in March, May and July as part of their commitment to give back to the communities they serve.
