LBS Financial Employees Make Holiday Toy Donation
LBS Financial Credit Union employees donated over ten boxes of toys to the United Marines' Toys for Tots Foundation during their Staff Holiday Breakfast on December 19, 2007.

2007 Belmont Shore Christmas Parade
More than 30 staff and family volunteers including LBS Financial Credit Union CEO and President, Jeffrey Napper joined together on December 1, 2007 to participate in the 2007 Belmont Shore Parade in Long Beach.

LBS Financial's Annual Turkey Drawing
LBS Financial raffled off six Gift Certificates towards a Turkey Dinner for members that visited a branch office in November, 2007.

International Credit Union Day
LBS Financial celebrated International Credit Union Day on October 18 with a celebration at each branch. International Credit Union Day was created to celebrate how credit unions improve the lives of their members around the world.

LBS Financial Awards 31 Student Scholarships
Each year LBS Financial encourages local area high schools, adult schools and community colleges to participate in their scholarship program by recommending students for an award. This year 26 high schools, 3 college and 2 adult school students were awarded scholarships.

LBS Financial Celebrates Billion Dollars in Assets!
The Credit Union celebrated it's growth in assets to $1 Billion this year by providing a limited offer to members with a certificate special and vehicle loan rate offer. The celebration that began May 1st and ran through mid-June included in-branch member appreciation days on June 1st.

Paint Bixby Elementary!
More than 200 volunteers joined together on May 19, 2007 to paint Florence Bixby Elementary School in Long Beach. LBS Financial Credit Union partnered with the Long Beach Unified School District and United We Paint for this community project. Three of the main buildings and some landscaping of the school grounds were accomplished during this one-day event.

CSULB Math Day at the Beach
LBS Financial donated trophies for Cal State Long Beach's annual Math Day at the Beach on March 17, 2007. The winning team from North Hollywood High School, featured below, includes Tedrick Leung (center) who has been number one in this contest for four years running.
